Technical Assistance

Technical assistance can take many forms, and depends mainly on the needs of the child who is deafblind.

Training

Training is tailored, as much as possible, to meet the individual needs of parents, educational teams, service providers and volunteers.
Online Training Workshops for early intervention or school-based teams.

Registration

To register a child who is deafblind, please download the Oregon DeafBlind Project Child Registration Form, fill it out and return.

Music & Movement for Children with Disabilities/Deafblind Workshop

Workshop participants

Over 30 specialists from the fields of Vision, Hearing, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language, Early Intervention and Early Childhood attended the workshop. Several students from WOU also participated in the activities exploring the use of sound and movement in influencing the functioning of the brain.
